Program Director at Musical Empowerment
Allison Flors is the Program Director for a national nonprofit called Musical Empowerment. The mission of her organization is to provide free music instruction to low-income children by pairing them with collegiate mentors. Allison has been instrumental in the growth of Musical Empowerment, specifically with software implementation and program infrastructure within the 7 college chapters. She graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2018. Allison is a certified K-12 Music Educator and recently obtained her Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. Her passion for music education carries into her free time; Allison teaches private music lessons (flute, clarinet, and saxophone) and also performs regularly in her community band.
