What is the Social Impact Challenge?
This year we are putting teamwork into action with our 2019 Social Impact Challenge, which is focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #2: Zero Hunger. In particular, we are focused on youth hunger in US cities.
In Los Angeles, 25% of youth are at chronic risk of hunger. In San Francisco, it’s 28%, and in Chicago, 20%. These numbers aren’t just too high – they shouldn’t be statistics, to begin with.
We’ve teamed up with Caravan Studios, a division of TechSoup, to work with issue experts, community leaders, and individuals like you to help develop solutions to take us one step closer to ending childhood hunger by 2030.
At Kintone Connect LA, Boston & Chicago, we’ll ask you to participate in the process, as you’ll hear about and see the big solution concepts developed by a team of community experts on youth hunger using tech & teamwork, and be asked to provide feedback on the ideas and vote on the solution you think will have the most impact.
The solution concept with the most votes will be announced at the Kintone Connect series finale in San Francisco and will be created by Kintone and given back to the community members and organizations needing it. Learn more about the Social Impact Challenge here.
