Why Attend

Teamwork and technology can be combined to make a profound impact on organizations and communities to help solve problems. But too often teamwork fails to be effective and technology is part of the reason why:

  • Custom software solutions for teams are too complex and time-consuming to develop.
  • Off-the-shelf software solutions lead to ineffective solutions and disconnected data stores.
  • Team collaboration in old systems like email and spreadsheets hinder transparency and productivity, and increase risk.

For teams to thrive, organizations must nurture teamwork and utilize software designed to promote a culture of teamwork.

Kintone, the team whose mission it is to “Make a Society Brimming with Teamwork,” invites you to network and learn about a new generation of teamwork tools and methods that lead to:

  • Increased accountability and trust within teams
  • More productivity in addition to greater happiness
  • A bigger impact for your team, organization, and community

Join us! The Kintone Connect series is coming to a city near you.

What is the Social Impact Challenge?

This year we are putting teamwork into action with our 2019 Social Impact Challenge, which is focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #2: Zero Hunger. In particular, we are focused on youth hunger in US cities.

In Los Angeles, 25% of youth are at chronic risk of hunger. In San Francisco, it’s 28%, and in Chicago, 20%. These numbers aren’t just too high – they shouldn’t be statistics, to begin with.

We’ve teamed with Caravan Studios, a division of TechSoup, to work with issue experts, community leaders, and individuals like you to help develop solutions to take us one step closer to ending childhood hunger by 2030.

At Kintone Connect LA, Boston & Chicago, we’ll ask you to participate in the process, as you’ll hear about and see the big solution concepts developed by a team of community experts on youth hunger using tech & teamwork, and be asked to provide feedback on the ideas and vote on the solution you think will have the most impact.

The solution concept with the most votes will be announced at the Kintone Connect series finale in San Francisco and will be created by Kintone and given back to the community members and organizations needing it. Learn more about the Social Impact Challenge here.
